How Boratech approaches regulatory compliance across its products and operations.
Boratech Solutions Ltd is committed to operating lawfully and transparently in every market where our products are available. Compliance considerations are part of product design from the start — not something added after launch. This page summarizes our standing commitments; product-specific policies are linked below.
For products that involve payments or the transfer of value, we are committed to implementing proportionate anti-money laundering controls, including transaction monitoring, record keeping, and escalation procedures for suspicious activity. The AML framework for our payment product is described in the MrSwap AML Policy.
Where required by the nature of a service, we verify the identity of customers before providing regulated or risk-sensitive functionality, using risk-based verification tiers. Our approach for MrSwap is described in the MrSwap KYC Policy.
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We apply data minimization, purpose limitation, and retention limits across our products. See our Privacy Policy.
We monitor the regulatory landscape relevant to our products — including data protection, consumer protection, and financial services regulation — and adapt our products and processes as requirements evolve. Where a product requires registration, licensing, or a regulated partner in a given jurisdiction, we will obtain the necessary permissions or work with appropriately authorized partners before offering the relevant service there.
Boratech Solutions Ltd does not currently hold financial services licenses or registrations, and we do not claim otherwise. Products with regulated touchpoints are designed so that regulated activities are handled through appropriately authorized providers.
